We are looking for a Transport Team Leader to join our Transport Team in Nuneaton.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? 

As a Transport Team Leader, you will join a team of four Team Leaders supervising Transport Operators as they plan and manage delivery routes and loads for the depot fleet. 

Ensuring that the operational aspects of each site remain compliant with budgetary and legal constraints, you will ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and site KPIs are maintained. 

This is a time sensitive, fast paced environment, where Operators make split second decisions to provide the most efficient levels of service possible. You’ll be working to deadlines and will need to enjoy a challenge, relish responsibility and thrive under pressure to get on in this role. 

WHAT DO YOU NEED? 

- At least two years’ FMCG distribution experience 
- Experience of communicating with drivers 
- Demonstrable cost control methodology within a traffic office environment 
- Sound knowledge of the general logistics sector 
- Detailed knowledge of relevant legislations within the transport sector
