Calibration Technician 
Watford, Hertfordshire

Our client is a well-established distributor of electrical and environmental test equipment. They are now looking for a Calibration Technician to join their team.

Your Role: 

As a Calibration Technician, you will join our client’s laboratory environment and conduct a range of electrical testing activities. 

Specifically, you will connect testing instruments to an electronic calibrator to generate and measure electrical signals. You will take readings and enter the data into an IT system (full training will be provided for this system). 

About You: 

To be considered for the role of Calibration Technician, you will need: 

- Experience with Microsoft Excel 
- A good level of IT literacy 

Some electrical knowledge, even just as a computer hobbyist, would be beneficial to your application. High level data entry experience would also be advantageous. Electrical testing lab experience would be equally preferable. 

Other organisations may call this role Calibration Technician, Electrical Test Technician, Quality Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, QA Technician, Laboratory Technician, Instrumentation Technician, Test Technician, or Laboratory Assistant, 

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, 8am – 5pm. 

Please note, this role will involve lifting items up to 15kg.
