Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a Project Officer on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Croxteth.

They are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Project Officer (Asset Management) to join one of North Liverpool’s mainstream Landlord. Based in Croxteth, the successful candidate will report in to an experienced Asset Manager and join a friendly and supportive team.

Working with the Asset Manager the Project Officer will be responsible for implementing, managing and maintaining the organisation’s stock condition system, alongside their asset management systems. As a Project Officer, you will be accountable for ensuring asset data is gathered from all available sources, including stock condition surveys, to continually maintain our stock condition data, as well as ensuring all asset management data reported is accurate and is a true reflection of our stock.

Other responsibilities for this role include;

  • Being the lead officer for the collection of stock condition survey data for all stock including new build development.
  • Ensuring stock condition data is monitored & validated against agreed targets and where necessary instruct stock condition surveys to address any gaps in data.
  • Developing systems & procedures to identify & record components requiring cyclical maintenance for existing stock and new build development. 
  • In line with the organisation’s Asbestos Policy, developing systems & procedures for maintaining & reporting on their Asbestos management system.
  • Developing processes & procedures for undertaking asbestos surveys for surveyed stock and planned maintenance programmes.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have strong knowledge, or experience, of the housing sector as well as asset management databases and possess a data analyst qualification or equivalent. It is essential that the successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and will adhere to and promote the organisation’s values and behaviours.
