Do you have an interest in building a successful career in Insurance? My Client is looking for a Claims Administrator to join a growing claims team in Leeds. The role offers excellent progression opportunities and an outstanding benefits package for the right candidate.

THE ROLE
• Involves monitoring several new claims Outlook inboxes - to include assessing new notifications, responding to, registering & allocating claims to the appropriate person, third party loss adjuster or law firm
• Monitoring the MOJ Portal & responding appropriately to new claim submissions, either by accepting, reassigning or rejecting CNFs as well as monitoring existing cases approaching MOJ deadlines
• Responsible for maintaining stationery & office supplies, ordering additional items when required, overseeing the printer & ensuring the stock of paper & ink cartridges
• Liaising with the office estate managers, to include securing room bookings, reporting issues, & completing annual H&S questionnaires & risk assessments
• Assisting with bordereau payments from specific service providers, as well as checking & approving batch payments for service provider fees
• Possibility for handling a small caseload of low value &/or non-coordinated claims
• Assisting with ad hoc projects & exercises as required to support the team - such as data entry, data cleansing, reallocation of cases, running reports, helping with preparation of presentations to management

THE CANDIDATE
• Ability to organise workload, under pressure, whilst meeting tight deadlines. Confident & self-motivated, with ability to work both as part of a team & independently, using own initiative
• Accurate, reliable & neat with excellent attention to detail & an analytical approach to problem solving
• IT literate with a very good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word & Powerpoint
• Effective communication skills, written & verbal, demonstrated by experience liaising with internal stakeholders & management team
• Some experience of working within the insurance industry &/or a legal practice would be desirable & highly regarded, but not necessarily essential

SALARY & BENEFITS
• GBP20,000 - GBP22,000 per annum dependent on experience
• Mon - Fri - 9:00 - 17:30 (with 1 hour lunch)
