HR Advisor

Great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a national, well respected business.

Your new role
Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide a best practice HR advisory support function to include , employee relations, employment legislation, resourcing, absence and terms and conditions of service.
• Promote effective staff engagement practices so that these are embedded for external customers including formal partnership arrangements
• Support managers to manage Formal HR Processes including investigations
• Provide consistent HR advice on a range of employee relations matters. This will involve receiving and interpreting highly sensitive and complex information and managing the implications of employee relations matters that could include delivering unwelcome news.
• Support HR colleagues with the delivery of complex organisational change programmes incorporating all aspects of employment rights including staff consultation, voluntary redundancy/early retirement schemes and redeployment
• To be responsible for taking and transcribing formal minutes from meetings where appropriate.
• Produce and analyse information to make recommendations, e.g. advising managers on Employee Relations cases.
• Support the development of Job Descriptions

What you'll need to succeed
The suitable applicant will have the following experience:

• Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent level of experience
• CIPD qualified or working towards
• Previous HR experience
• Experience of recruitment and selection
• Demonstrable knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis
• Experience on advising managers on a range of HR issues e.g. sickness absence, Maternity/Paternity/Adoption leave, Special Leave, Performance issues and terms and conditions of employment.
• Experience of undertaking HR investigations
• Experience of delivering HR related training programmes
