Our Client now has an excellent opportunity available for a Human Resources Advisor to join them on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 12 months to cover a period of maternity Leave. The successful candidate will contribute to the proactive delivery of an efficient and effective Human Resources service to College Management and staff, that contributes to the strategic aims of the College.
You will adopt a partnership approach to support and assist managers by providing advice and support to enable them to effectively manage and resolve employee relations issues and undertake casework in relation to attendance management, performance management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and other HR processes.
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you are CIPD qualified and have at least 3 years’ recent experience within the Human Resources field at the Level of Officer/Adviser. This should include experience of recruitment and selection processes and casework including attendance management, disciplinary, grievance, performance etc.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent organisation, advice and management support skills. As well as being able to work on their own initiative, the post holder will also be required to be flexible and pro-active in their approach to support team deadlines.
With experience of working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and the provision of information/data, you should also have an outline understanding of Human Resource issues in a large, complex organisation.
Capable of establishing credibility and rapport with College Managers and members of staff, to provide an effective, proactive customer focused service, you must possess excellent communication skills, and be able to demonstrate experience of liaising with staff at all levels to provide accurate and tailored advice on a wide variety of HR related issues.
The successful candidate will also have strong IT skills and a good eye for detail and accuracy.
