Trades Supervisor for busy trades team in Inverness, Managing Team of 10, Competitive Rate, 3-4 months

Your new company

You will be working as a Trades Supervisor in a busy team covering the Inverness and Ross-shire ares. This is a temporary role with a potential opportunity to be made a permanent employee.

Your new role

Your new role will be fast paced and involve supervising a team of multi-skilled workers. You will manage plumbers, electricians, joiners, painters and general operatives. Your tasks will involve assigning work to tradesmen, checking quality of work undertaken, prioritising workloads and monitoring Health & Safety. From a management point of view you will deal with any performance issues, absence management and any other business as per agreed company guidelines. You will report to overall Trades Manager and form part of weekly meetings regarding workloads and budgets.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this position you will have an understanding of the construction and maintenance sector; either from a trades or management role. You must have strong organisational skills to balance your workload and the tradesmen's. You must have excellent communication skills as you will deal with a range of people on a daily basis.
