Salary: £38,052 - £40,858 a year plus £3,203 car benefit allowance and £3,500 market supplement

The Role:

They have an interesting role available within their Property and Construction team where you will be carrying out all aspects of mechanical services design for building project commissions assigned to and managed by the Project Design & Delivery Team.

You'll also ensure that all technical, environmental, sustainability, programme and financial criteria are met on projects assigned to the team.

About you:

They are looking for someone who has experience of managing work in Mechanical Services Engineering and experience of contract administration and performing a Planning Supervisor role.

Their ideal candidate will need to be a strong negotiator and be able to influence others. You'll need to carry out mechanical design and calculation to support and secure Building Control applications and approval under Part L1 and L2.

You'll need to have proven ability to effectively use current mechanical computer software including Hevacomp and AutoCAD and be able to prioritise, plan and organise your own workload to meet conflicting demands, fee targets and deadlines.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to control, supervise and monitor the performance of contractors.

You'll have the opportunity to develop on your already existing knowledge of current, relevant legislation, methods of calculation and statutory requirements including CDM regulations, asbestos regulation and to comply with these.

They do ask that you have a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification or equivalent verifiable work based experience and training.
