Cash Allocation Supervisor

Oxford

Position Overview

To successfully manage the cash allocations across the main divisions of Amey, by working with the contracts and the credit controllers to ensure that cash is cleared down correctly and in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the postings of the daily receipts to the sales ledger and ensure that these are being posted & cleared down in a timely manner
  • Reduce and monitor unallocated cash
  • Ensure that SAP and Alloc8 are always in sync
  • Manage internal and external queries from customers and contract
  • Ensure that all queries raised by our clients are dealt with quickly and professionally
  • Work with our internal and external teams to ensure a positive relationship
  • Improve the automation & match rate in Alloc8
  • Provide monthly Alloc8 reports
  • Encourage the team to think outside of the box
  • Produce KPI reports for the team
  • Work with the other teams to ensure that we have correctly reconciled and cleared down the different payment methods
  • Have regular meetings with the team and provide updates to the Head of credit

What are we looking for?

  • CICM Full or part qualified would be an advantage
  • Alloc8 experience would be a benefit
  • Good knowledge of Credit Management
  • Has an ability to communicate clearly and present effectively
  • Must be proactive
  • An ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Is able to challenge the status quo and articulate these suggestions
  • Work as part of the team
