BS Social Care are currently recruiting for experienced Support Workers to work adhoc hours within a service based in Northampton. The service caters for 4 females with mild learning disabilities although challenging behaviour can be displayed.
The service is near the town centre and is accessible on a bus route. The shifts range from 0900-1700, 1000-2300sleeps, 0900-2100 or 1400-2200 shifts. You will be working with other staff members so you won't be lone working.
You will be supporting the service users on a daily basis, prompting with personal care and meal preparation. The service users are independent but will need support when required which could be attending appointments, completing food shopping and when going on walks or other activities. You will need to be confident with report writing and carrying out handovers. Medication training would be ideal for this role.
To register with BS Social Care you will need a minimum of 1 years experience within the last 1-2yrs. An enhanced DBS will need to be completed which is a cost of £50 or if you have one on the update service then this can be accepted.
