HR Generalist / HR Business Partner
This leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist / HR Business Partner to join their team on a 12 months FTC / Perm
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in providing a responsive and proactive employee relation service.
- Have a good degree of competency in applying employment law, keeping up to date with legislation changes.
- Coordinate and manage appraisals, probations and performance management.
- Assist the Head of HR in the implementation of a corporate learning and development plan.
- Coach, support, mentor and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and procedures, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR issues to drive best practice.
- Contribute to the development of HR systems and procedures.
- Identify areas of improvement and support the implementation of initiatives to engage employees leading to an engaged and motivated workforce.
- To use HR management information and other relevant data to identify trends which impact business performance and proactively work to implement appropriate solutions.
- To take ownership, management and delivery of both strategic and operational HR projects.

The ideal candidate:
- Will be CIPD qualified
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- Experience of managing core HR processes from start to resolution.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver project work.
- Excellent planning, organisation and administration skills, able to prioritise and manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resourceful with the ability to solve problems confidently and independently.
- Team focused with a desire to work collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
- Up to date knowledge of current legislation, employment law and HR best practice.
- The ability to work in complex environments whilst providing advice and support to multiple stakeholders.
- Effective communicator at all levels (written and verbal).
