Human Resources Manager

Job Purpose: A generalist role to provide proactive HR business partnership to support the Company to build on employee capability and development.

Role & Responsibility

  • Ensure that recruitment assignments are well specified, targeted and managed to attract and secure the best candidates, working with the recruiting managers and managing external providers constructively and cost effectively.
  • Work with line managers to assist them in managing and resolving performance issues in a constructive and timely way
  • Work with line managers and/or Heads of Department to ensure that appropriate personal development plans are well constructed, in place and supported
  • Work with Heads of Departments, developing and retaining talent
  • Ensure the effective roll-out and management of the Performance Development Review process
  • Ensure HR information/administration is accurate, timely and well managed (e.g.: records/contracts etc.) either directly or through others
  • Design and develop frameworks, workshops and policies/procedures to support roll-out of initiatives/projects and ensure appropriate delivery through cascade/HR team
  • Support and/or manage ad hoc projects as required

ISO Audit

  • Ensuring the Quality Management System is maintained
  • Review of Quality Objectives with Director
  • Promote awareness of the customers stated and apply needs throughout the relevant areas of the business
  • Reporting of improvements within Management Review

Health & Safety

  • To ensure that you and your direct reports are aware of and abide by the requirements of the Company Health & Safety Policy
  • To ensure that your direct reports have safety related performance objectives included with production and quality objectives, and these are regularly reviewed and updated
  • To provide adequate resources to enable the effective discharging of your or your direct reports H&S responsibilities
  • To ensure that direct reports are completing risk assessments in area of responsibility
  • To report accidents and incidents where necessary
