Clinical Services Manager

The role:

Our Client is now looking to recruit a Clinical Services Manager to join them to take accountability for the delivery of the Clinical Services Programme; managing all aspects of the relevant services including private and NHS and ensuring that all operational and quality objectives and targets are met.   

Key responsibilities:

Providing expert opinion and advice on all clinical services related subject matters across the Pharmacy Directorate, you will identify new opportunities for community pharmacies both from the NHS and private sector and develop national and local commissioner contacts to set up a database of local and national clinical service tenders suitable for community pharmacies.  

Supporting members with building business cases, writing bids and commissioner engagement, you must develop relationships/partnerships with private and NHS stakeholders, provide A to Z support for members in setting up new clinical services from scratch and lead and motivate the Clinical Services Team.

Skills and experience:

Candidates for this role must have previous experience of leading a team and of working in the NHS or with commissioners.  Capable of working in a financial setting and able to manage multiple projects at any one time, a Health Economic background would be beneficial as would a professional qualification in support of your application.
