Permanent post, salary £25,000 per annum, 37 hours per week, 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. Enrolment in company pension scheme.

Gamesley Early Excellence Centre Community Interest Childcare Company has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager to lead our childcare team as Childcare Coordinator. Our Centre is in Gamesley near Glossop, Derbyshire. It is a professional and busy environment encompassing childcare for children birth to 11 years and a maintained nursery school for 3 and 4 year olds. Both our day care provision and nursery school are judged outstanding by Ofsted.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team in order to provide an outstanding enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn and will be able to build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children’s needs to be met. The coordinator will be responsible for the all year round management, staffing, organisation and provision of flexible childcare in the Centre, for children from birth to 11 years (full day care and out of school provision). The successful candidate will also be Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Centre and take responsibility for safeguarding and child protection for children accessing childcare during school holidays. The coordinator will work alongside and be responsible to the Head of Centre.
