Our client is an international manufacturer of construction and mining equipment for the global market. They are based in the North East of England, close to Newcastle upon Tyne, and were established in 1985. The Company employs over 400 people who are engaged in the design and manufacture of medium-sized hydraulic excavators, mainly for the European market.
They now have an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic administration professional to join the Human Resources team.
This is an exciting and varied position which extends to all administration of generalist HR practices such as recruitment, training and pensions. You will also support administration of the payroll along with related internal analysis. Any experience within a payroll function or team would therefore be beneficial. This is a key role in which you will provide a professional, consistent and efficient service to the business.
The successful candidate is required to have an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent, and you must have previous administration experience in a fast-paced environment. With strong communication skills, you will have the ability to prioritise your own workload and work to tight deadlines. Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential, in particular Word and Excel.
