Administrator (Family Carer Support Service)
Our client is a leading national charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, employing some 3,000 people.
The Family Carer Support Service (FCSS) provides expert information and support to family carers with a relative with learning disability, autism or both. In addition to caring for their relative - family carers have to navigate multiple and complicated systems to ensure that their relative gets the support that they need, so being able to access specialist, reliable information can be a lifeline.
Position: Family Carer Support Service Administrator
Location: Bristol city centre based
Hours: Part-time 28 hours per week
Salary: GBP15,575 rising to GBP15,963 pa on successful completion of probation
Closing date: Thursday 3 May 2018

About the role:
They are looking for a reliable and experienced administrator to join their small team at the Family Carer Support Service.
You will be responsible for all administrative tasks of the Family Carer Support Service and will support the administration of charitable services within their organisation.
About you:
As the administrator you will be the first point of contact for people contacting them via their Freephone line, so an excellent telephone manner and good interpersonal skills are essential for this role. You will undertake day to day admin duties as well as carrying out some project work.
They need someone with excellent administration skills, attention to detail, with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads working on their own initiative as well as within the team. Strong IT skills', including Microsoft Office and the willingness to learn new systems will be required.
