Business Development Manager - Transform Ageing Project

Book of You CIC is a social enterprise headquartered in Wales that brings the benefits of digital life reminiscence to older people, people living with dementia and young people with a learning disability.

Life reminiscence has a strong impact on wellbeing, person centred care and reducing social isolation.

Book of You's service was launched in March 2015 in Cardiff and we have subsequently worked across and beyond Wales in partnership with Care Homes, Local Authorities, Health Boards and Third Sector partners. You can read more about what we do on our website on or on our Twitter and Facebook pages.

Book of You is delighted to be working with Unltd's Transform Ageing project in the South West of England. Transform Ageing is an exciting partnership between Unltd, the Design Council and a range of other partners using a social enterprise and design - based approach to service delivery, with the aim of radically improving services for older people. This role is an important one - to be the main reference point for Book of You in the South West and to market our services to potential customers including Housing Associations, and to identify and develop relationships with local authority and Heath Commissioners.

The post holder will work closely with the Chief Executive and Operations Manager of Book of You who will both spend face to face time in the South West to support the Transform Ageing project.
