SO1 £25,950 - £27,668 pa

We are part of the Morris Education Trust (MET), a recently formed and fast-growing multi-academy trust currently including Impington Village College and Witchford Village College.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our site team to assist with the maintenance of our school buildings and grounds. Working under the direction of the Estates Manager, you will be able to carry out a range of building maintenance repairs, grounds maintenance and day-to-day caretaking duties and be someone who takes a pride in providing a clean, secure, safe and healthy environment for pupils, staff and visitors. 

The successful candidate must have:

• Previous experience of building maintenance and knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical and decorating repairs
• A ‘can do’ attitude and able to work with minimum supervision in a very varied role
• A professional approach and be hard working, adaptable and flexible
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, use of email and the ability to administer the on-line maintenance repairs and improvement system

Ideally you will have knowledge of building heating, security and alarm systems and hazard identification and risk assessment, or be willing to undertake training in these areas.
