Job Summary:
Supporting the Stores Supervisor in day to day stock control activities, with key priorities being the receiving and dispatch of goods. Stores are responsible for the traceability and movement of all materials held within the company and any transactions made must be in line with company procedures. The job is offered with ample training on both the stock system and also company processes.
Main Duties:
- Carrying out Warehouse and Stores activities in accordance with Multipulse Procedures and Processes;
- Goods Inwards receiving, including cross checking suppliers have delivered as per the company's order;
- Dispatch of goods to customers, as requested by the sales team;
- Identifying, separating and notifying quality manager/ relevant departments regarding faulty/ incorrect goods which have been received;
- Issuing stock to production and kitting departments as per the company's system processes;
- Ensuring that production shortages are issued in a timely manner;
- Assisting the Stores Supervisor with stock counting activities;
- May be required on occasion to make customer deliveries in a company van; and
- Carrying out additional duties as may be required.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working in a stores department
- Experience in an electrical manufacturing business
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Works in a timely and efficient manner
- A forklift driving license would be preferable
- A full UK Driving license would be preferable (Category C1 would be desirable)
