Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a proactive Learning and Development Coordinator to join their Learning and Development team in Coventry. The main purpose of this role is to provide full training administration support by coordinating the delivery of activities and programmes, and taking full responsibility for the event organising process.

Actively promoting a positive learning and communications culture throughout the business you will manage all communication throughout the training process and assist in the successful delivery of national training events. Utilising your excellent communication skills you will liaise with suppliers and be responsible for the queries and calls that come in to the department. Other duties will include the effective deployment of all joining instructions and course materials, circulating monthly and quarterly training reports, booking venues and accommodation, and the distribution and collation of Performance Development Reviews.

You will maintain and update the Learning and Development databases and ensure that all data and statistical information for the department is up to date, therefore it is essential you possess excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, work methodically and accurately under pressure.

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and will be educated to GCSE / A Level or equivalent in English and Maths. It is essential that you are IT literate and a confident user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will thrive on the challenge of supplying first class administration support and be experienced in delivering administrative duties. It is essential that you are a logical thinker who is willing to own and solve problems. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. It would be advantageous for you to have experience of working within a Learning and Development environment.
