Senior Care Assistant

37.5 hours per week

including shift work and weekend work

Grade 3 Salary £19,706 - £21,729 per annum

In your role as a Senior Care Assistant you will support Care Assistants, under the supervision of Registered Nurses, to provide excellent standards of care to residents.

You will work closely with colleagues to deliver the best care for residents, encouraging independence and personal choice and helping to provide an environment which is conducive to residents with varied and complex needs.

Erskine is keen to recruit people who are committed to the care of older people, including those with dementia.

SVQ III in Health and Social Care or SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 7 is essential (internal applicants can be working towards SVQ III).  The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that they are a member of the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months of joining Erskine.
