A Channel Development Manager is required to manage the company's overall relationship with reseller/dealer partners, educating, promoting and sharing best practice with them.

To increase sales and revenue generation opportunities both with existing partners and new business, maintaining effective lines of communication internally and externally. Actively contribute to the Company's commitment to continuous improvement both at individual, team and company level.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and effectiveness of the reseller/dealer partnerships in line with agreed business plan/specific targets.
- Pro-actively recruit new resellers with existing NGN Traffic.
- Proactively seek and tender for new contracts with large organisations
- Develop/co-ordinate effective activities and communication to partners and internally within the Company in relation to partnership development.
- Manage and co-ordinate the introduction of new products and support services to reseller/dealer partners to agreed timescales.
- Maximise all PR opportunities in relation to reseller/dealer partnerships.
- Make regular visits to reseller /dealer partners, co-ordinate all training activity in-house and on-site.
- Work with reseller /dealer partners to effectively promote and sell on products and services to their clients' local markets.
- Work with reseller /dealer partners to create sales plans to create future additional revenue streams.
- Work with reseller /dealer partners to create market opportunities and analysis of plans, advise on how they can serve specific client groups.
- Track, analyse and make recommendations regarding pricing, as well as placement of their products.
- Manage possible conflicts between reseller/dealer partners and their sales function.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and telecommunications sector relevant to role purpose.
- Maintaining records, systems and controls to maximise efficiency and effective dissemination of information.

Experience required:

Knowledge of Telecommunications and related market sectors, has succeeded in related work role, has worked in fast paced sales environment, can multi-task and manage complex projects.
