South Norfolk Council has exciting opportunities for a Food, Health and Safety and Licensing Team Leader to join the team based in Long Stratton.  You will be there on a full time fixed term basis of 12 months and you will be offered a competitive salary of £39,360 - £43,080 per annum + Essential car user allowance.

What you will be doing as our Food, Health and Safety and Licensing Team Leader:

- Providing the professional lead and day to day management to a committed team
- Undertaking inspections and visits
- Monitoring and reviewing the service delivery
- Representing the teams at committee meetings
- Reviewing and updating Council policies
- Advising on changes to legislation and procedures
- Managing the delivery of enforcement across the team
- Completing all requisite statutory returns and reports to other agencies

The ideal Food, Health and Safety and Licensing Team Leader will have the below skills and experience:

- A degree or equivalent in Environmental Health
- Significant post qualification experience in a similar role
- The ability to manage a fast-paced changing environment
- In depth knowledge of Food Safety, Health and Safety, Environmental Health
- Strong organisational and planning skills
