Job Description LOCATION: Wymington, Rushden
JOB TITLE: Headteacher

THE COMPANY: St Lawrence Primary is a small village school serving the community of Wymington. As a church school they firmly believe in the importance of a values-led curriculum. They are currently looking for a Headteacher to take the school to the next stage of becoming a full primary school.
THE ROLE: The role of Headteacher is an exciting opportunity for an excellent primary practitioner to take the leadership of the school. The school are in the process of moving towards federation with a neighbouring school which will be completed, along with the transition to primary, in September 2018 when St Lawrence will welcome their first Year 6 class.
The post is open to individuals with strong senior leadership experience who can demonstrate a clear vision and share a commitment to providing the best opportunities for the children. This will be a highly rewarding role with the potential to make a significant and sustained impact on the school and community.
This role would suit either an experienced Headteacher looking for a challenge or a Deputy Headteacher who is looking for their first opportunity.
This is an exciting time for the school and would be an opportunity for the right candidate to really make a difference to the school, staff and pupils.
THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and forward-thinking leader to take the school into the next stage of opportunity, growth and development. The Headteacher will be supported by a hard-working and willing staff, supportive governing board and an active parent association.
