My client are looking for an experienced Recruitment Administrator or Resourcer to work in a very busy public sector team in Ashford. The client is located very close to the town with great transport links.

The post holder will undertake the following duties and responsibilities

  • Accurate recording of employee and candidate information.
  • Create and log candidate pre-employment checks.
  • Work within Key Performance Indicator (KPI) timescales and Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
  • Answer telephone calls, taking messages and passing on accurately to the relevant departments/person.
  • Ensure that general office supply levels are maintained.
  • Responsible for sorting of all incoming post and ensure distribution to the relevant departments, and to ensure that all out going post is documented. To send post recorded delivery when requested.
  • Promote the image of the department, checking that notices and leaflets are up to date and well presented.
  • Ensure that all complaints, comments and suggestions are dealt with appropriately, in accordance with policy, resolving where possible and escalating to line manager when appropriate.
  • Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised at times, within defined policies and procedures to set timescales.
  • Provide administrative support to relevant groups, including transcribing formal minutes.
  • Responsible for organising meetings for the department and planning any administrative work as required.
  • Demonstrate office systems and department requirements to new starters.
  • Inputting into, monitoring and printing reports from computerised systems, requiring standard keyboard skills.
  • Provide basic HR advice to managers and staff in the practical implementation of employment policies and procedures e. Recruitment and selection or sickness absence management.
  • Excellent customer service, the use of tact and persuasive skills as required.
  • To carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required
  • Become involved in project work as required.

The ideal candidate will need to be educated to GCSE levels, and have a strong work ethic. You will be required to provide examples of instances you have worked on your own as well as demonstrate strong team work.

We are looking for someone with impeccable timekeeping, who has come from a recruitment background who has a good knowledge of microsoft packages and a strong understanding of recruitment laws and legislations (compliance, data protection and right to works). Due to the nature of the role, you must be able and willing to travel between sites.
