Systems and MI Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Systems and MI Analyst, working within People Services at Police Headquarters, Lewes.
This is a busy and challenging role and requires someone who is flexible and has the ability to multi-task, working as part of a team committed to enabling the force to perform effectively.
In this role you will collate, analyse, interpret and present recommendations for action on a variety of management information to inform senior managers in key operational decision making and to enable the Force Command Team to undertake strategic planning around all aspects of the People Services.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following skills, abilities and approach:
Extensive experience in manipulating, analysing and interpreting data from MI Systems e.g. SAP and/or Business Objects
Experience of leading development projects that result in maximising the use of MI systems and enable greater management self sufficiency.
A thorough understanding of statistical analysis and presentation with the ability to convey this understanding to others in graphical, written or verbal presentation.
Experienced user of all Microsoft Office applications, with expert user competence in Excel.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills.
Excellent influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to problem solve effectively.
An overall understanding and appreciation of the advantages and limitations of current information technology.
The ability to plan and manage own workload with minimal supervision.
