As a Planned Works Officer you will be joining a crucial client-side estate working alongside property surveyors, responsive works operatives and Building Surveyors. You will be operating across the Devon region, with your work directly improving the lives of hundreds of people in the area. Your new role
As a Planned Works Officer you will oversee an extensive refurbishment programme ranging from replacing doors and windows to updating boilers and installing new kitchens and bathrooms. You'll be liaising with tenants and contractors, as well as specialist departments. This role will provide opportunity for you to develop specifications, tenders and contracts for major repairs and improvements to ensure that the programme of works is on target and within budget constraints.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role as a Planned Works Officer, you will have a working knowledge of electrical mechanical, heating and hydraulic systems. You'll have an understanding of CDM and building regulations and be able to deliver planned programmes of work on time and within budget.
