An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Area Manager to join us at our office in Manchester.

Our Social Housing business is delivered through a regional structure where we have an area operations team which deliver excellent value for money services.

Within this team, your role is to maintain and enhance our reputation with local authorities and landlords as the managing agent of choice for those investing in/responsible for the provision of accommodation in line with our business aims and to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction with our service.  You will ensure team members are delivering excellent customer services and are “doing the right thing at the right time, every time”.

You will lead on the mobilisation of new business ensuring income is maximised and costs minimised, producing management plans for new schemes which reflect learning and good practice.  In addition, you are responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with partner local authorities, landlords and customers so that we retain existing and secure new business.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have knowledge of welfare reform/service charges/Homelessness Reduction Bill coupled with experience/track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Candidates will preferably have experience of managing housing with care and/or support and should also have the ability to coach and improve team members to enable them to reach their full potential. It is also essential that you have an excellent standard of education, to Degree level, and have experience of managing teams in a social housing management setting.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates should be willing to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and will have a clean full driving licence.
