Hays Accountancy & Finance is recruiting an assistant management accountant to join a large and profitable company based in Hull. The business operates from sites throughout the UK and it is a great time to join them as they embark on the next phase of their development. The business is offering a starting salary of up to £30,000 per annum, depending upon experience and qualification. In addition, the company offers study support, an excellent benefits package, along with subsidised social events for staff outside of work.

Your new role
As an assistant management accountant within the business you will be an integral part of the wider finance team. You will work closely with a variety of financial and non-financial stakeholders throughout the business. You will be responsible for assisting with the production of accurate management and statutory accounts in order to assist with commercial decision-making, you will prepare various KPI's and analysis for the management accounting team, and you will help to drive consistent improvement and efficiency in internal controls

What you will need to succeed
You will be studying towards your AAT, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification. You will be a confident and articulate communicator. You will possess excellent IT skills. Experience of SAP would be useful, but is not essential.
