Welder / Fabricator

This expanding metal engineering company is currently looking to recruit a MIG & TIG Welder/Fabricator to work within its small but busy manufacturing team, based in Castlethorpe. Primarily the company is a sheet and tube fabrication facility, working mainly with mild steel but also Aluminium and Stainless Steel.

Reporting to the Works Manager, your main duties are:

:-To manufacture to a high standard and accuracy, components and assemblies detailed in fabrication drawings.
- To fabricate various steels and grades.
- To read, understand and interpret drawings.
- To contribute to the development of the welding team generally.

The company is looking for a motivated individual with good time keeping skills. Someone who is able to work as part of a team but to also work independently when required. The skills required for the position are:

- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Work to high standards and have good all round welding and fabrication skills.
- To have positive 'can do' attitude.
- Prepared to work overtime when required.
- To adapt to the companys systems and processes.

Hourly rate dependent on experience-starting from £12.
