Our client requires a Senior Marketing Analyst to come on-board for 6 months and take ownership of the analytical reporting arm of their global marketing department comprising of over 130 employees globally.
Description
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, the Marketing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing marketing performance and reporting on results to support marketing strategy and decision-making.
Roles & Responsbilities
- Work with marketing functional teams to define reporting requirements across different channels
- Develop and process routine reports by extracting data from marketing automation, sales CRM and other key systems
- Maintain the central reporting repository, ensuring the regular delivery and publishing of marketing reports and dashboards
- Provide on-going training and support to marketing users to drive the roll out and adoption of marketing reporting assets published in the central reporting repository
- Provide timely and effective campaign and tactic performance analysis and insight
- Perform ad-hoc analytics driven special projects
Background & Experience
- 2-5 years of related experience in marketing analyses
- Naturally curious, with strong attention to detail
- Experience of distilling data into insight and being able to present it to non-technical colleagues.
- Experience of applying data analytics to solve business problems.
- Able to integrate and utilise information from multiple sources and identify and summarize key trends and actions
- Good understanding of some MI/reporting tools, ideally including Tableau
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of handling and analysing large data sets
- Ideally, some exposure to marketing channels and techniques for evaluating their effectiveness
- Experience working in large multi-national organisations
