This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Financial Controller to join a profitable Yorkshire SME business based near Saltaire in West Yorkshire. Reporting directly into the MD.


Key responsibilities include;

?? Organise and manage the day to day financial activities of the businesses, including payroll & pension, invoicing & credit control, purchase ledger.
?? Annual business planning, budgeting and quarterly forecasting and updating of business plans;
?? Managing cashflow, including international transactions
?? Produce effect and accurate MI for Owners and MD
?? Monthly & Quarterly VAT;
?? Ensure that all financial matters are conducted in line with business procedures and delegation of authority;
?? Developing relationships with HRMC, banks and auditors.
?? Actively work to minimize risk through the business

With this hands-on position you will need to be comfortable with all aspects of the role.
Be influential with other key stakeholders in the business. Recognising opportunities to improve the business, minimise risk and manage costs through streamlining internal efficiencies.
You will need to be ambitious and have the drive to implement and manage difficult business decisions
Proactive for the MD through analytical information and business proposals
Work with high levels of detail and scrutinise internal and external information
Experience of SAGE & PayPal
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Good team player with a desire to work in a diverse international team
