Treasury Manager* PERMANENT ROLE - NORTH WEST - Preston

Badenoch and Clark's notable client based in North West England requires a Treasury Manager. The role is permanent position.

To lead the institution treasury provision meeting current and future needs. The role will ensure the organisation's treasury activity is fit for purpose with investment and borrowing needs appropriately planned and executed. The scope covers the whole organisation including subsidiaries and associated organisations both in UK and overseas.
The successful candidate will have a track record in treasury management with hands on experience in working with the investment, banking and lending communities. They will have the ability to engage the organisation executive and governance community leading and influencing where appropriate.
With experience in medium sized+, multi-faceted organisations it is envisaged candidates will also have the ability to effectively interface with the wider Finance organisation.
A professional treasury and a degree level qualification is essential.
Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The key duties and responsibilities of the role:
*Develop banking and investment strategies and undertake action required to ensure operational activity is aligned.
*Ensure operational banking arrangements are optimally established and meet the needs of day-to-day activity.
*Lead the relationship management with banks, investment advisors/managers as well as lending advisors/houses.
*Ensure all treasury policies (including banking, investment and borrowing) are up-to-date and relevant for the University and subsidiary/affiliate needs.
*Develop risk based approach appropriate for the nature of the institution, appetite of the Board and with rules of regulatory bodies.
