Account Manager

We are a nationwide Tyre company with several offices in the UK. Our Guildford office is currently recruiting for a Customer Account Manager, responsible for sales and business development for your accounts.

Having been a market leader in the commercial and retail tyre industry for a number of years, we have excellent staff retention and really look after our people who we consider to be at the heart of our success.

As a Customer Account Manager, you will be working in our Sales team currently made up of 5 people and you will be responsible for over 50 accounts. You will be serving clients, identifying their needs and building relationships to maximise sales potential with both new and existing clients.

Another main part of your role is making prospect calls to seek new business opportunities whilst proactively promoting our own brands and making sure that Customers reach their required levels on a monthly basis. You will also be conducting market analysis and reporting back to your Team Leader.

We are looking for someone who is an initiative taker with an enthusiastic personality, a passion for sales and enjoys talking to people. You should have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to bounce back from set-backs.

For us to consider your application for our Customer Account Manager job, we expect you to have a track record of working in a fast paced B2B / B2C sales or revenue generating job and working to monthly targets. You should be able to demonstrate successful account management within a Telesales or field sales role and have strong proven closing skills.

We offer a basic salary of £18,000 plus commission of approx £500-£1000 per month depending on performance. We also offer various incentives, for example; for each brand of tyre sold, you can earn vouchers to spend in High Street stores. We also have free on-site parking and offer a company pension scheme.
