For over 50 years our research has saved lives. We've broken new ground, revolutionised treatments and transformed care. But heart and circulatory disease still kills one in four people in the UK. That's why we need you.
Do you love working with content in all forms? If so, this could be the role you've been looking for. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a multi-award winning team at the UK's leading heart charity.
About the role
We are recruiting for a Content Manager to support and empower people living with heart and circulatory disease to better understand and self-manage their condition through the provision of trusted, high quality information.
You'll develop and manage a portfolio of heart health content across multiple platforms including digital, print, and video. You will also also evaluate the effectiveness of content using relevant analytics and customer insight, working with colleagues in the media and digital teams to ensure all content achieves maximum engagement, reach and impact with our target audience.
About you
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of successfully managing multiple, complex projects, including managing the development of film, online and print publication materials and ensuring that key deadlines are met.
An excellent communicator with strong project management skills you'll be able to turn complex information into easy and accessible information for all, ensuring it is clear and concise. You will then, in turn, be able to evaluate the effectiveness of this content, using relevant analytics and customer insight to maximise the reach and engagement to our target audiences.
With knowledge and understanding of user behaviour in the online environment and the range of options for presenting information digitally you'll have knowledge of and enthusiasm for different approaches to health information work and be able to adapt and mould the work we do to ensure it reaches those effected by heart and circulatory disease.
You'll have excellent organisational skills, able to manage your own workload and work independently, generating creative ideas. You will work closely with multiple external and internal stakeholders and be able to build strong working relationships quickly with contacts across the organisation.
