They have a vacancy for a Production Engineer to work in their Test Equipment Department.
The key responsibilities for this role will be to assemble test machines, carry out calibration and final test functions on a variety of company designed test machines. To produce machined parts using lathes, mills and other machine tools from engineering drawings and other production control documentation.
It is essential that the successful candidate will have an appropriate Engineering/Technical qualification. Have previous experience of fitting assembly work and machining and to be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and other production control documentation. The candidate will also be required to work independently as well as part of a team.
Previous experience of working on XYZ Lathe or milling machine would be an advantage.
Full training will be given for specific calibration requirements.
