This accounting company based in Wimbledon Village provides specialist accounting services to contractors living and working in the UK. As the name implies, their client base consists mainly of Kiwis, Australians and South Africans. They have a bright open-plan office environment, with a hard-working friendly team.
A proactive and extremely well organised Accounts Assistant is needed to join the team. The successful candidate will have excellent written and spoken English, excellent attention to detail and have a can-do attitude. Strong mathematical skills detail is essential. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook skills are essential, and a strong personality to deal with a varied range of tasks with minimum supervision.
Previous accounting experience (And/or knowledge) is preferred but not essential.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Setting up new clients
- Company Incorporations
- Data capturing
- Address Changes
- Chasing clients for accounts and general information
- Keeping their client database records up to date
- Assisting with bank account reconciliations
- Filing
- Payroll set up
- Registering clients for VAT
- Filing confirmation statements with Companies House
- Assisting with the completion of statutory filing returns for our client's companies (all training is provided)
- Providing assistance to account managers
Location: London, South West (nearest station, Wimbledon)
Annual Salary: £20,000 to £22,000, depending on experience.
Hours per week: Monday to Friday, 8 to 17
Duration/Status: Permanent, with initial 3-month probation period
Start Date: ASAP
