Experienced Social Worker
This is an exciting time for adult social care in Wiltshire Council. We have re-focussed all our services to better meet the aspirations of people who have a learning disability, living in all our community areas, and have restructured our operational services to better meet the needs of these customers.
The re-designed service now necessitates a significant increase in our team's capacity, to ensure people with a learning disability are case-managed by one multi-disciplinary team.
About the role
Here is an excellent opportunity for you to develop both personally and professionally, as part of the Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) as a full time Social Work practitioner at an Experienced level. These are county wide roles, but will be based in either Salisbury, Trowbridge or Chippenham.
Registered with HCPC as a Social Worker, you should have evidence of further professional development.
We are looking for people with social care experience, and a desire to show leadership for professional practice. You will have experience in managing and supervising social care staff. In return for this, you will be part of a supportive, evolving, and multi-disciplinary team, developing a service that puts the customer at the centre of everything we do.
The interviews will be held at Kennet House Devizes, on the following date: Thursday 10 th May, Friday 11 th May and Friday 18 th May.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, as an employee you will be expected to share this commitment.
