We are looking for a Migration & Onboarding Specialist to join our fast growing Customer Success team as we begin to migrate our current client base on to the latest version of our Flagship product this year.

The Data Migration & Implementation Manager Role overview:

You are likely to come from a professional services background in a SaaS environment. You will be technology minded with real experience of major complex SaaS system migration and/or customer on-boarding projects. Able to execute ‘right first time’ data migration and it would be beneficial if you have SQL experience.You will have experience of project management (but not necessarily be a project manager).

You are used to running multiple concurrent projects in multi-tenanted environments.
You can demonstrate the ability to drive multiple projects and deliver high profile programmes.

You will be responsible for coordinating the deployment of our new platform from requirement definition phase in conjunction with the Solutions Consultant and Business Analysis team, to implementation completion and hand over to Managed Services in both a migration and an onboarding environment. You will ensure that all aspects of a successful deployment are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. Additional responsibilities may include providing pre-sales assistance in the latter part of the sales cycle.

There is opportunity to grow a professional services arm of the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

+ Assist clients with data migration/clean up from legacy systems.
+ Create and own the data migration plan.
+ Create and own the User Acceptance Test plan and management of the internal and external test resources.
+ Create and own the cut-over plan (including hand over into Customer Success/Support).
+ Manage implementation of new clients, from initial project scoping and initiation through to delivery and completion.
+ Provide primary client contact during installation period.
+ Keep comprehensive records of work completed and actions pending using internal reporting/recording systems.
+ Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve problems.
+ Build strong relationships with all internal and external partners and suppliers that can ensure the successful delivery of the migration/onboarding roadmap.
+ Work with other members of the Technology and Product Team to understand other key projects, products and product enhancements being delivered and the impact to your project – and informing them of your changes that may impact their deliverables.
+ Train client users in the use of software, offering advice and best-practice where applicable.

Qualifications and Skills:

+ Ideally suited to someone who has previous experience within a field
service or operational management role within a professional service environment OR as an implementation specialist at another SaaS company
+ Project, programme and portfolio cost management and reporting
+ Impact assess and quality check incoming work requests
+ Make recommendations to senior management to resolve issues affecting project delivery
+ Be the point of escalation for resolution of major project issues affecting scope, cost etc
+ Proactively identify opportunities for earlier delivery and associated benefits
+ Stakeholder Management and Reporting
+ Risk Management. The PM is responsible for risk management across the project and will create and maintain the master risk register
+ Working in a collaborative manner with all team and vendor resources of a project throughout the lifecycle
+ Strong Business Judgement and Influence. The project manager influences others within the whole project team using their technical expertise to identify and address project issues
+ Continuous Process Improvement. Works with leaders/owners of the process or service to understand current practices and identify areas for improvement
+ Proven track record of detailed project planning and implementation
+ More than 3 years' experience managing enterprise SaaS migration projects and/or programmes
+ Excellent written and oral communications
+ Team player
+ Ability to operate in dynamic environment.
+ Flexible work approach.
+ Ability to self-manage and prioritise workloads, and to foresee and pre-empt issues
+ Prior experience with ERPs, integrations and 3rd party management would be beneficial.
