We have a varied and interesting portfolio of projects and programmes at Allianz UK, which has only become more exciting following the recently communicated Allianz and LV= joint venture that'll create the third largest personal insurer in the UK market.

The purpose is to develop and mature the project management practice, lead the adoption through coaching or support and contribute to the change team strategy. In addition, deliver a wide variety of divisional or cross-divisional strategic projects, both standalone deliveries or as part of a wider programme of change.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops clearly defined best practise Project Management standards and approaches appropriate for different types of change assignments

  • Develops adoption strategy through increasing capability and engagement

  • Provides technical/professional coaching and support for the project management community and act as a formal mentor for new hires

  • Educates the organisation through training in methodology practices, processes and cultural transformation of the organisation to improve the organisation's ability to deliver change using different approaches

  • Leads the Project Management community of practise

  • Drives continuous learning and development of project management practices through facilitating activities

  • Defines, agrees and reports on success using maturity, team and roadmap assessments across the organisation.

  • Initially secondary responsibility but could change over time as the project management discipline mature:

  • Leads either programmes or complex projects to deliver desired outcomes depending on the critical needs of the business

* Business acumen and financial awareness.

* Leadership and coaching for higher performance. Influencing across all levels, including board level
* Expert in using various change management techniques and methodologies
* Matured the project management technical capability in an organisation is a preference
* Experienced within project and change delivery. Having delivered a variety of strategic projects of different types and sizes
* Worked across several industries or C&P lines of business
* Experienced at pulling plans together and managing associated risks, issues and changes

* Educated to degree level or holder of further professional qualifications
* Professionally qualified within Change Management field (e.g. MSP, APMP, Agile, 6 Sigma)
