Trainee Service Engineer (Machine Tools)

This is a great opportunity for a Trainee Service Engineer in Leicester commutable from Coventry, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Rugby, Hinckley and Coalville. Paying GBP25,000 + generous bonus, car, pension, smart phone and lap top, it is working for a dynamic machine tool company that manufacture their own machines.

The Role

This fantastic Trainee Service Engineer role will include diagnostic work, service, repairs and installations of a range of high-quality machine tool systems.

The Candidate

As the successful Trainee Service Engineer you should have knowledge of working with machine tools with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; be experienced with fault finding and working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; and be familiar with a variety of CNC control systems including Fanuc. You should be self-confident, motivated and have excellent communication and IT skills. It may suit someone who is currently in a maintenance position and is looking to transition into a Service Engineer position.
