The Company is a leading provider of Ultraviolet (UV) curing products and services for industrial markets. As an internationally renowned industrial product engineering company they now seek a self-motivated Electrical Project Engineer looking for a long-term career.

Their business is specialised within the industrial coatings industry and so they will provide the necessary training required - what they need is the right person, with the right basic technical skills, along with a willingness to learn and take ownership of the job.

The Role:

Reporting to the Projects Manager, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle of machine electrical and control systems, including assembly, testing, and commissioning.

The role may suit a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment, as you will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical work on bespoke production equipment.

Working closely with your peers within the engineering team, you will help to deliver high quality projects within budget, cost and time parameters. You will follow best practice guidelines as laid out in specification documentation, including CE.

Overseas travel can be an on-going requirement in this position, involving on-site commissioning of equipment, fault finding and offering technical support.

Ideal Skill Set:

  • Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Electrically and Mechanically competent (3 phase, motors, invertors, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics)
  • Customer-facing experience, comfortable in both office and workshop environments

Desirable to have:

  • Knowledge of CAD software (E plan / AutoCAD)
  • Rockwell RS5000 and Siemens S7 PLC programming skills
  • Experience of Equipment CE Marking and Risk Assessments
