Excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Engineer to join an award-winning company based in Liverpool!
Location: Onsite (various around the North West)
Main duties and responsibilities
Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical background for maintenance, covering all gas works, with proven experience in commercial gas plant rooms.
- Pipe fitting and install experience would be desirable.
- A full driving licence is essential.
- Must have been successfully assessed in the gas work elements being undertaken.
- Appropriate knowledge of Health and Safety and environmental requirements, to deliver safe/efficient installs.
- Competent in carrying out routine servicing, diagnostic and fault finding in the maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
- Undertake gas work safely in compliance with gas-safe standards.
- Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
Person Specification:
- Understand and comply with policies and procedures
- Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to use initiative when required
- Ensure that tools and equipment are correctly used and maintained
- Ensure completion of remedial work, repairs etc. within the timescales defined
- Qualifications and experience in catering equipment, electrics or air-con would be desirable, but not essential.
- Carry out general fault finding along with rectification
- Ensure an excellent level of customer service whilst on site following usual Health & Safety guidelines.
- Commercial gas qualifications COCN1, CODNCO1 are essential
