An exciting opportunity has become available for a person centred, care focused deputy manager to join an established supported living provider at one of their Walsall services.
You will become a key player in the management team for specialist care services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours.
Based in Walsall, you will work closely with a competent, professional and care focused manager to deliver the highest quality of care possible across both supported living and community settings.
Employed on a full time basis, you will split your time between working within an office based environment and being in the field.
Your duties will be varied and will include, rota and staff management, liaising with external agencies, activity and service planning whilst maintaining a service that offers care and support that actively promotes choice, Independence and dignity.
Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be flexible to share the "on call" rota and work the occasional weekend and evening based on the needs of the service.
This is the perfect opportunity for a competent team leader or deputy manager who already has a proven background supporting clients with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs.
You will hold the QCF level 3 in health and social care as a minimum, and be willing to, or already be working towards the QCF level 5 in leadership and management. A strong team player, you will have knowledge and experience of managing a team and working within CQC guidelines.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential to be successful in this role.
You will receive a generous salary up to £25000 per annum dependent on your qualifications, skills and experience. You will also receive a generous annual leave allowance and on going training and development.
