Manchester, Greater Manchester

About the Company: 

With a global network spanning Europe, the US and China, our client is an eCommerce company.

Part of the business focuses on creating the designs, photography, videos and marketing strategy for all their brands and products. Our client works with a broad range of brands, so no two days are ever the same. 

As part of our client’s growth and vision for the future, they’re opening a production studio at a new site in Stretford and are looking for a Production Assistant to join their team.

The Role: 

As a Production Assistant, you will support the smooth running of projects in our client’s production studio. 

In this varied role, you will: 

- Order props and products for shoots 
- Distribute scripts to Camera Operators and Editors 
- Liaise with Project Managers to manage logistics between the studio and warehouse 
- Help the Camera Operators and Photographers to set up equipment and sets 
- Carry out administrative tasks 
- Assist the Creative Director and Producer with any ad-hoc duties 

About You: 

To be considered, you’ll need: 

- Knowledge of photography and video production processes 
- The ability to assist with larger campaign projects from pre to post-production, often on tight turnarounds and deadlines 
- The ability to document and troubleshoot projects and spot any issues ahead of time 
- Great communication skills 
- A highly-organised approach 

Ideally, you’ll have experience and/or a degree level qualification in studio production, but this isn’t essential, as full training will be given. A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle would also be preferable.
