School Cleaning Supervisor
LOCATION: Witham On The Hill, near Bourne, Lincolnshire (This position is commutable from Bourne, Stamford, Peterborough and Grantham)
JOB TITLE: School Cleaning Supervisor
SALARY & BENEFITS: Circa GBP18,000 per annum depending on experience
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours a week - 0 Monday-Friday (term-time only plus deep-clean weeks in school holidays)
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Witham on the Hill, Stamford is a happy and thriving boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 4 to 13 years. They are committed to an education both in and beyond the classroom, thereby enabling the academic, artistic and physical potential of each child to flourish. They currently have the opportunity for a School Cleaning Supervisor to join their team.
THE ROLE: The successful candidate will oversee and be responsible for the cleanliness of the school. They will act as a Line Manager, supervising a team.
Together the aim of such support staff is to facilitate the needs of teaching staff and pupils to ensure the better performance of the School.
The successful candidate will not be uncomfortable with the aims and ethos of either boarding schools or private education, and, through their own conduct, will be able to contribute to the environment of high standards, good manners, and excellent service at which the School aims.

- To oversee and be responsible for the cleanliness of the School, including active participation in cleaning duties.
- To act as Line Manager for a happy team of seven hard-working domestic staff:
- Oversee their cleaning duties
- Organise rotas, including for daily duties and for occasional one-off duties
- To prepare term-time and holiday-time cleaning schedules
- Appraise performance
- Nurture the well-being of your team, and represent their best-interests.

- Experience of professional house-keeping, large or commercial setting
- Physical capability to meet the demands of the role
- Basic IT skills
