Salary: £24,689 - £33,113

Contract Type: ADOPTION COVER, Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Fixed Term until 31/08/2018

We are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Computing to join our Hi-Tech, [Engineering and Computing] section on an adoption cover basis, here at South Devon College.  As a professional lecturer you will be required to undertake formal scheduled teaching duties to include teaching, tutorials and student assessment, for learners across a range of Computing programmes. 

The successful candidate will need to hold a recognised vocational qualification in computing networking and/or software development to level 4 or above, and have English and Maths GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent).  If not already held, you will need to be willing to attain a teaching qualification within the College’s specified timescale.  The ideal candidate will need to have experience working in the Computing industry, with software development and/or hardware systems, and have relevant subject knowledge up to level 5 in areas such as Computer Science, Networking, Data Communications and Programming Skills.
