Drainage Engineer- Taunton

My client, a market leading, international Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Drainage Engineer to join their Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Taunton.

Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics, Civil or Environmental Engineering and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Drainage Desing usign Microdrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Flood Estimation or have experience liaising with the public.

As a Drainage Engineer you will have the opportunity to be trained to complete Flood Risk, Drainage, Surface Water, GIS and Environmental Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers.

Candidates will be required to complete;

-Flood Risk Assessments.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Catchment Management Plans.

-GIS Mapping.

-Flood Estimation using FEH, Winfap and ReFH.

-Drainage Strategy and Design.

-Drainage Design using Microdrainage.
