The Financial Crime [Divisional/Global] Controls Testing & Assurance Officer will join the Financial Crime Compliance ("FCC") Group. This role will report into the [Divisional/Global] FCC Head and will be functionally supervised by the [Global Lead of Financial Crime Controls Testing & Assurance ("FC CTA")/TBD]. The Officer will have the responsibility of further establishing the [Divisional/Global] FC CTA program (incl. Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Fraud and Sanctions Compliance), including conducting testing and thematic assurance reviews of key financial crime controls and working with CTA associates/analysts CTA reviews, where applicable. Specifically, the role requires that the Officer:
  • Implement and update the FC CTA program [in the region/globally] through testing and assurance activities
  • Oversee regional/divisional[/global] review of the effectiveness of key financial crime controls based the results of CTA reviews
  • Conduct in-depth CTA reviews of key FC functions
  • Liaise with control owners/performers to discuss CTA reviews and findings and identify appropriate resolution/remediation
  • Assess results of CTA reviews to identify trends and opportunities for program enhancement
  • Prepare summary results of CTA reviews into Management Information reporting to FCC and Bank management
  • Ensure any deficiencies found in CTA review are remediated and documented by the appropriate groups
  • Support the maintenance of global CTA standards based on [Divisional/Global] changes to controls and identified risks and priorities
  • Develop [Divisional/Global] schedule of CTA reviews in conjunction with current Bank processes and programs
  • Leverage global CTA workflows and templates for consistent testing and documentation
  • Collect and analyze testing results to assist FCC management with its risk-based approach to compliance
  • Participate in monitoring, surveillance and assurance calls and meetings with [Divisional/Global] FCC, CCRO, and Business management
  • Assist [Divisional/Global] FCC Management with oversight and coordination of CTA review in non-hub locations, as needed

  • You will be required to have Anti-Corruption, Anti-Fraud, and/or Sanctions Compliance) and/or Internal Audit experience
  • You will have extensive experience in working within an FCC (may include Anti-Money Laundering)
  • Working knowledge of [applicable regional FC regulations/regulators, e.g. USA Patriot Act/Banking Secrecy Act (BSA)/AML] regulatory requirements preferred
  • CAMS/ICA Certification preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Experience working within large financial institution preferred
