We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and who loves a bit of DIY to be our Maintenance Assistant. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services, and our Maintenance Assistant plays a key part in our success, responsible for ensuring the property is maintained - and if there are any leaks, brakes, scratches or scrapes, fixing them quickly so guests don't notice. Oh, and changing the odd lightbulb! If you've have a strong ability to prioritise and complete work to a high standard, this could be the role for you. This is a part time role and you are required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week including some Saturdays. The Solent Hotel & Spa has 117 bedrooms, and has a very strong reputation for being one of the best hotels in the area. We have a fully equipped Spa with 8 treatment rooms, 13 metre pool and Jacuzzi, gym and fitness studio, together with our restaurant and bar and outside alfresco terrace and grill for dining in the warmer months and there are also 14 meeting and event suites. We also have a 54 bedroomed Lodge Hotel which sits adjacent to our pub, The Parsons Collar. Thwaites was established in 1807 and to this day remains a family run Business.
